Last Saturday, the second national race of 2026 in the middle distance category was on the program; a total of 21.046 pigeons were entered by 2238 participants.
Given the conditions with a northwesterly wind over a large part of the flight path, it promised to be a tough challenge, and there are opportunities in Limburg on this flight.
Tim Penders from Heerlen managed to touch the wall first with just a 3-second lead over number 2, and numbers 3 and 4 also finished within a minute of the winner.
