During the second flying weekend of the season in the Netherlands, the races were flown under excellent conditions. This once again resulted in great competitions and strong performances. One of the notable results came from the north of the country, namely from Beute & Hansen.
Within the Dutch pigeon sport, the name of Gertjan Beute is known to everyone. Not only because of his achievements, but also because of his vision on pigeons in general and on the sport itself. Every year, many fanciers seek him out to consult his knowledge and insights.
It became clear once again that the form is already past its early stage of the season. On the race from Luykgestel (185 km), a strong result was achieved against 1.993 pigeons:
3-4-10-12 against 1.993 pigeons (42/53)
With this strong start to the season, Beute & Hansen once again confirms their place at the top of Dutch pigeon racing.
