The first young pigeon races of the season are now behind us and Gert van den Bogaard has gotten off to an excellent start. Last weekend, he once again demonstrated that he has a talented team of young pigeons at his disposal.
From Quievrain Gert managed to secure another fine victory and put down a strong series of early prizes.

Moreover, it was not the first top performance of this young season. A week earlier, he dominated the result from Beers with another impressive series.

The winner of Quiévrain also boasts an excellent pedigree. The father was bred by Gert himself and is a grandson of “The 600”, (Stultjens-van Dongen) winner of the 2th National Ace Pigeon, linked to "Anita", winner of the 1st National Sector ChâteaurouxThe mother of the winning young pigeon is Sweety, an original hen from Team Noël-Willockx.
