During the third flying weekend of the season in the Netherlands, the flights were flown under fast conditions, with speeds reaching and even exceeding 100 km per hour. This once again resulted in impressive performances.
One of the most striking results was achieved by Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp. The Eijerkamp family's lofts clearly got off to a flying start and showed an exceptionally strong series last weekend.
On the flight from Marche (213 km), an impressive result was achieved against 2.237 pigeons:
1-2-3-4-7-9-10-11-17-18-20-21-22-23-27-36-37-41-44-53-54-64-65-70-71-72-84-85-91 etc. tegen 2.237 duiven (84/114)
The first two pigeons underscore the enormous quality within this colony. The winner is a direct descendant of “Zoë”, 1st International Ace Pigeon, while the second pigeon is a grandchild of the famous “Yellow Logger”.
A performance that not only confirms current form but also underscores the strength of their proven bloodlines.
With this impressive series, Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp once again demonstrate that they belong to the absolute top of Dutch pigeon racing.
