During the third flying weekend of the season in the Netherlands, the flights were flown under fast conditions. Speeds rose sharply and in many cases approached, and even exceeded, 100 km per hour.

Once again, it was Henk Douna from Donkerbroek who managed to distinguish himself with an impressive performance. For the second week in a row, he managed to 1st prize in major competition to achieve, which underscores his strong form in this early phase of the season.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Henk accomplishes this with a relatively small group of pigeons. Yet, time and again, he manages to compete with the absolute top.

On the flight from Bierges (277 km), the following victory was achieved:

1st against 3.883 pigeons

With this second victory in a row, Henk Douna once again confirms his class and strong start to the 2026 season.
