During the second flying weekend of the season in the Netherlands, the races were flown under excellent conditions. This once again resulted in beautiful competitions and strong performances. One of the notable victories was claimed by Piet Lindelauf from Vijlen.
Piet Lindelauf is a well-known name in Dutch pigeon racing and crowned himself in 2025 as Overall Champion of the NetherlandsHe also starts the 2026 season in strong form.
After already a handsome one last week 2nd place against 3.702 pigeons, he managed to strike again this weekend with a victory on the breakaway from Rethel (183 km):
1st against 3.681 pigeons
With this strong start to the season, Piet Lindelauf shows that he is once again a name to be reckoned with in Dutch pigeon racing.
