Epp has been active in pigeon racing for 60 years and has been seen in the top regions of the results from a young age. His first pigeons came directly and via Arie van Beek of Jos Klak Reusel and is very successful with it, including with his Olympic Niki who in 2008 was allowed to represent the Netherlands at the Olympiad in Dortmund in the speed class. Fanciers who were also very successful with the Klak pigeons and were at the basis were among others: Willem de Bruijn, Bas Verkerk, brothers de Wit, Co Verbree. Over the years Eppe has always been looking for new reinforcements and pigeons came from Bernhart Siemer: 'the Heremans pigeons' (Euro and Olympiad 003) and of the Combination Lin from Rijnsaterwoude 'de Verkerk duiven'. These injections turned out to be a bull's eye. In 2000 Bodde the First and Third Best Pigeon in the category old pigeons in the Competition the Very Best with his 'Golden Ladys'. Later came the 'van den Brande pigeons' with what a great injection of speed. The latest reinforcements come from Dirk deBeer, the great German champion from Norden, from the line of 'Olympic Bleu' and the 'Leideman pigeons' such as Good Gray and Aura. Further from the Gebr Jager the Van den Brande pigeons.
