Christian Bähn, 41 years old and a trained carpenter who grew up with homing pigeons just outside Berlin, Germany.
He and his father are still a combination. And they are also quite successful, in 2009 they were 8th Ace Hen BRD and 23rd Ace Hen at federal level in Dortmund.
In 2010, Christian moved to Switzerland for work, where he was unable to keep pigeons for over 10 years. He will start again in Switzerland in 2022, to continue what he stopped in 2009, namely achieving top performances.
Unfortunately, experience has now shown that, given his geographical location, it is almost impossible to play well, so he has started to focus on the so-called OLR races.
An attempt was made to obtain something from top lofts and this succeeded with two very successful Swiss fanciers Mike Aebersold en Roli Wirz. From them came CH-22-988, which immediately became the father of my CH-23-444 (78th Ace Pigeon Golden Race Algarve) or Den CH-22-451, son of Olympic-NITRO, SG Wirz, father of CH- 23-458 (55th Ace Pigeon OLR Sofia)
In addition, super offspring were produced Gebr. Leideman, Dirk vd Bulck and two top granddaughters of “Porsche”, PEC and two children of “Infinitive”, from the best of Gaston vd Wouwer, Wed “New Kim”. And what about “Beauty Gaston”, father & great father of top pigeons, descendants became 4. & 9. in OLR Usedom Final (501 km) against 2.090 p.
Besides enjoying his pigeons, he can also enjoy the beautiful Swiss mountains, who wouldn't want that?
